# Install Membrane Bot

Begin by installing the Membrane Bot through our secure authorization link.

During installation, ensure that 'Administrator' permissions are granted to enable full functionality of the Membrane Bot. This is crucial for proper operation of all features.

Upon successful integration, the system will automatically generate a dedicated administrative channel titled 'membrane-admin'. This channel serves as the central configuration hub for administrators.

To initialize the bot's functionality, execute the /activate command in the membrane-admin channel. This step is mandatory before proceeding with any further configuration.

# Role Management Configuration

Important Note: The Membrane Bot requires specific role hierarchy settings to function properly.

To configure role management capabilities:

1. Access Server Settings through your Discord server's main menu

2. Navigate to the Roles section
3. Position the MembraneBot role above all roles you wish it to manage

• Ensure compliance with Discord's permission system
• Regularly review and update role configurations as needed
